Job Description
Experis is seeking an IT Hardware Technician / Warehouse Associate to support hardware lifecycle operations for enterprise clients. In this role, you will receive, inventory, and organize IT equipment; install, configure, and test desktops, laptops, and peripherals; and prepare devices for deployment. You'll maintain accurate asset records, package and ship hardware, and follow safety and ESD standards. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you'll troubleshoot issues, support project-based rollouts, and grow your skills with cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities Receive, inventory, and organize IT hardware in a warehouse environment Install, configure, and test desktops, laptops, peripherals, and network devices Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and component replacement Prepare equipment for deployment, imaging, and asset tagging Maintain accurate asset records and update tracking systems Package, ship, and track hardware to client and internal locations Follow safety, ESD, and security procedures for handling equipment Collaborate with technicians, project managers, and clients to meet SLAs Support equipment lifecycle activities, including returns and decommissioning Document work performed and contribute to process improvements Required Skills PC hardware installation and configuration Desktop and laptop troubleshooting Warehouse operations and inventory control Asset tracking systems Imaging and deployment tools Basic networking (TCP/IP, switches, routers) ESD and hardware safety procedures Shipping, receiving, and packaging Documentation and ticketing systems Customer and internal stakeholder communication
