This is a hands-on project leadership role . The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day refresh activities, managing deployment schedules and weekly project goals, directing technicians, and working directly in the field to replace, configure, test, and document workstation hardware. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT hardware/deployment experience , with demonstrated experience leading PC/workstation refresh or technology deployment projects from planning through completion . Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & Coordination Lead day-to-day execution of the Tech Refresh project across hospital and clinic locations. Develop and manage deployment schedules, milestones, priorities, and weekly completion targets. Coordinate and direct field technicians and assign daily deployment activities. Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and escalate issues as needed. Coordinate with client IT teams, site contacts, vendors, and other project stakeholders. Provide regular status updates on completed, pending, and outstanding refresh activities. Ensure project activities remain on schedule and meet established quality standards. Hands-On Technology Refresh Perform and/or oversee workstation and computer hardware replacement activities. Conduct site surveys at hospital and clinic locations prior to deployment. Review existing workstations and document hardware, software, peripherals, applications, configurations, and user requirements. Image and deploy new workstations. Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot computers, monitors, peripherals, software, and related equipment. Validate that applications and required functionality are working properly following deployment. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and workstation issues during refresh activities. Coordinate removal, replacement, and disposition of legacy equipment. Asset Management & Documentation Maintain accurate hardware and asset inventory throughout the refresh project. Update asset management/CMDB records following equipment installation and replacement. Document workstation changes, equipment serial numbers, locations, configurations, and deployment status. Ensure old equipment is properly identified, removed, and accounted for. Maintain project trackers and documentation to support weekly reporting and project closeout. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional IT experience , with significant hands-on hardware and workstation support experience. Demonstrated experience leading or managing a PC/workstation refresh, hardware deployment, technology deployment, or similar IT infrastructure project. Experience coordinating technicians, deployment activities, schedules, or project milestones.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Desktop and laptop hardware PC/workstation imaging and deployment Windows operating systems Hardware/software installation and configuration Troubleshooting and break/fix support Printers, monitors, peripherals, and mobile devices Experience managing hardware inventories and maintaining accurate asset records. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple locations and competing priorities. Ability to work independently in hospital and clinic environments while maintaining professional communication with users and client stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience leading an enterprise or multi-site technology refresh . Experience deploying or replacing hundreds of workstations/devices . Experience managing or coordinating a team of field technicians. Healthcare, hospital, clinical, or other highly regulated environment experience. Experience with ServiceNow CMDB/Asset Management or another ITSM/IT asset management platform. Experience conducting site surveys and developing deployment plans. ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, or other relevant technical certifications. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is not simply a senior desktop technician . We are looking for someone who has already served as the technical lead on a hardware refresh or deployment project and can balance project coordination with hands-on technical work.
