Position Summary Mao Hsun System Technology Co. is seeking a Safety Specialist (EHS) to support Environmental, Health & Safety operations for semiconductor construction and cleanroom infrastructure projects. The position focuses on secondary hook-up systems including Chemical, Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), and Plastic piping installations within active fab and subfab environments. The role combines field safety oversight, compliance monitoring, training coordination, and documentation management. Candidates with relevant safety or construction experience are preferred. Applicants with transferable technical skills may be considered if they can complete required qualifications and progress toward independent performance within a reasonable training period. Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction & Cleanroom Safety Oversight

• Conduct field safety inspections and documented walkthroughs; identify hazards and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with applicable OSHA requirements, client standards, and site safety procedures.
• Support semiconductor fab and cleanroom construction safety controls, including housekeeping and access control.
• Verify Permit-to-Work (PTW), JHA/JSA, and pre-task planning requirements before applicable work begins.
• Monitor hot work, confined space, fall protection, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) compliance within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
• Support safety readiness for Chemical, UPW, and Plastic piping installations.
• Coach crews on hazard identification, safe work practices, and timely correction of unsafe conditions. EHS Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain safety SOPs, policies, inspection checklists, and accurate field safety records.
• Track employee safety training records, certifications, and required renewals.
• Assist with onboarding safety orientation and refresher training.
• Prepare documentation for audits and client safety reviews.
• Support Highwire, contractor compliance, and vendor safety submissions. Incident Management
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Prepare incident reports and track corrective and preventive actions through closure.
• Promptly escalate serious hazards and incidents according to Company and client procedures. Training, Qualifications & Performance
• Participate in and successfully complete required job-related training and project-specific qualifications within Company-established timelines.
• Obtain and maintain certifications and site access qualifications required for assigned duties.
• Apply Company-sponsored training and acquired skills to day-to-day EHS responsibilities.
• Demonstrate progressively independent execution of assigned inspections, documentation, and follow-up activities after training, with supervision appropriate to the role. Additional Duties
• Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as assigned by management. Qualifications Required
• Ability to recognize safety concerns, communicate clearly with field personnel, and follow through on assigned corrective actions.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and willingness to learn construction and semiconductor safety practices.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work on-site in cleanroom and construction environments and meet applicable site-access requirements.
• Ability to report for the scheduled 6:00 AM start and work project-based overtime or weekends as required. Preferred

OSHA 30, OSHA

510, or OSHA 500, as relevant to assigned responsibilities, or willingness to obtain required training.

• Semiconductor / cleanroom construction experience.
• UPW, Chemical, or piping installation exposure.
• Engineering, EHS, construction, or other technical background. Compensation & Work Classification This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
