You coordinate training, audits, and corrective actions, partner with operations and engineering on process changes, track EH&S metrics, and champion a strong safety culture that protects employees and supports high-quality, life-enhancing orthopedic products. Implement and maintain site environmental, health, and safety programs in a regulated manufacturing environment Conduct risk and hazard assessments, JSAs/JHAs, and drive corrective and preventive actions Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and documentation Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations Support and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001-related processes, audits, and records Deliver and track EH&S training for employees and contractors Monitor EH&S metrics, inspections, and audits, and report performance to site leadership Partner with operations, engineering, and quality on process changes and equipment to minimize risk Promote a proactive safety culture focused on employee engagement and continuous improvement Coordinate waste management, chemical handling, and environmental reporting activities OSHA regulations and compliance Industrial hygiene and hazard assessment Environmental permitting and reporting Incident investigation and root cause analysis Risk assessment (JSA/JHA) Safety training development and delivery Ergonomics and machine guarding Data tracking and EH&S metrics
