BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in safety or occupational health, industrial hygiene or related field discipline from an accredited institution 3 years of health and safety and environmental experience in manufacturing or similar environment Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Job Responsibilities :

Work in conjunction with other members of the EHS Department to coordinate safety-related activities, detecting and monitoring plant conditions that may adversely affect the safety and health of employees and/or violate applicable laws. Completes plant audits and program assessments, recommends corrective measures and prepares written reports on findings. Participates in incident investigations to determine the "root cause", provides recommendations to address identified gaps and ensure the implementation of appropriate changes to prevent future occurrences Conduct employee training programs. Assess and monitor site compliance with all applicable local, State and Federal environmental regulations and work with plant personnel to ensure compliance. Assist with location fatality prevention efforts including helping to lead deployment and execution of key fatality prevention elements and coaching location leaders. Partner with location leadership to deliver EHS objectives.
