Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Designer/Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing plumbing systems for a variety of residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations comply with local building codes and regulations, while also meeting client specifications and project deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in Revit, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage plumbing teams effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in construction plumbing design or engineering with a strong background in construction site experience. Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, HVAC systems, and construction regulatory compliance. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting complex construction plans. Hands-on experience with pipe threading, pipe assembly, welding techniques, hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment. Familiarity with managing plumbing teams in both residential plumbing and commercial plumbing environments. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for estimating materials and labor costs. Mechanical knowledge related to domestic water systems and overall building system integration. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams. Experience with construction estimating software is a plus; familiarity with managing multiple projects simultaneously is essential. $85,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
