Month Contract Job Description:

Our client is looking for a consultant to come in and support their EH&S team and specifically support the Enablon data initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day data collection, organization, validation, and accounting for environmental sustainability metrics (waste, water, Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions, and selected Scope 3 categories). Conduct routine completeness and quality checks on sustainability datasets under guidance from senior team members. Assist in collecting inventory/activity data from sites, functions, and suppliers, ensuring alignment with reporting requirements, internal protocols, and applicable accounting standards. Exposure to Utility Data Management module and ability review bills in UDM and manage the mappings from UDM determinants to Enablon Indicators Help maintain emissions factor libraries and documentation, including preliminary updates and version tracking. Prepare draft segmentation/mapping updates (organizational or functional) for manager review. Maintain reporting protocols, intake documentation, and evidence logs to support assurance-ready and audit-ready sustainability reporting. Track data issues and follow up with data owners; escalate when required. Support the annual reporting cycle by assembling datasets, conducting preliminary checks, and preparing files for assurance review. Assist with input, validation, and simple troubleshooting in sustainability data systems (e.g., Enablon, Scope 3 tool, net-zero glidepath tool). Prepare initial analyses, summaries, and visuals for dashboards and presentations. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline data processes, strengthen controls, and build more effective cross-functional reporting processes. Partner with sites, procurement, and other internal stakeholders to support data collection, resolve issues, and improve the consistency and quality of sustainability reporting inputs. Support ad hoc tasks involving data preparation, research, documentation, or analysis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, data analytics, accounting, finance, or related quantitative field. 1-2+ years of experience in data analysis, sustainability, EHS, sustainability accounting, reporting, or related areas (internships acceptable). Familiarity with GHG accounting standards, GHG Protocol, ISO standards, or environmental reporting guidelines preferred. Experience with ESG/GHG platforms (Enablon, Sphera, SAP Sustainability, Watershed, etc.) is an advantage. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn. Ability to work collaboratively in a global, multicultural environment. Strong communication skills and ability to convey data clearly.
