Job Description:
- Parsons is now hiring a
- Fire Protection Engineer II
- for our expanding portfolio of federal projects.
- Hiring for this requisition is contingent upon Parsons successfully winning a pending contract award.
What You'll Be Doing:
- + Efficiently and accurately completes a variety of fire protection engineering assignments such as preparation of 3D models and drawings in Autodesk Revit, specifications via SpecsIntact, calculations and other design deliverables suitable for procurement and construction purposes under the direction of a Lead Fire Protection Engineer.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- + Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and typically 5+ years of related work experience.

+ Proficiency in preparing fire alarm and detection system designs. + Proficiency in preparing smoke control designs, calculations, and rational analyses. + Experience in fire protection & life safety code consulting and design for facilities. + Experience in fire suppression, fire detection and alarm systems, and life safety on US Government projects.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- + Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification + Strong interpersonal communication skills + A thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project

Salary Range:
