Up to 25% About the Role We are seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to support aerospace and defense hardware programs by driving supplier performance, production readiness, quality, and program execution. This role is ideal for an engineer with experience in manufacturing, quality, supply chain, or program management who enjoys working directly with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Own assigned customer hardware programs from contract award through production and delivery. Translate customer technical requirements and drawings into clear requirements for internal teams and suppliers. Develop and manage schedules covering procurement, tooling, qualification, FAI, and delivery. Serve as a key technical interface with customers and suppliers. Manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery, capacity, and corrective actions. Lead defect investigations, root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions. Qualify and onboard suppliers through capability assessments, audits, and quality reviews. Lead AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) and production-readiness activities. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks such as capacity constraints, long lead times, single-source dependencies, and obsolescence. Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to ensure successful program execution. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline. 2+ years of professional or internship experience in supply chain, manufacturing, quality, process, or related engineering. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. Experience owning projects/programs with defined deadlines and deliverables. Strong cross-functional coordination and project management skills. Excellent communication skills with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in El Segundo, CA. Ability to travel up to 25%. Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, or program management experience. Aerospace, defense, aviation, or other regulated manufacturing experience. Experience with NPI, supplier quality, supplier qualification, or technical program management. Familiarity with

AS9100, AS9102

FAI, and supplier quality systems. Experience with machined components, avionics, PCBAs, injection molding, or similar hardware. Experience reporting program status and supplier performance to leadership or customers.
