Job Description

Quality Engineer (Contract-to-Hire | Onsite | Local Candidates Only) We're hiring a Quality Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a high-performing manufacturing operation. This role is embedded within a key value stream and plays a critical part in driving product quality, process improvements, and overall operational excellence. You'll partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure products meet customer specifications, internal standards, and applicable industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead root cause investigations and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Support
APQP / PPAP
activities and new product introductions (NPI) Develop and maintain inspection plans, quality documentation, and control strategies Conduct process and supplier audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement Drive statistical process monitoring (SPC) and data-driven quality improvements Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve quality issues
What We're Looking For:
Strong background in manufacturing quality engineering Hands-on experience with CMM programming and vision systems (e.g., Keyence) Experience auditing to ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or
IATF 16949
standards Proven ability to lead investigations and improve processes in a production environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels, including customers and suppliers
