Production Process Engineer

About the Role As a Production Process Engineer, you will drive operational excellence by optimizing manufacturing workflows and enhancing production efficiency. You will serve as a key technical partner, leveraging your expertise in process development and root-cause analysis to ensure high-quality, repeatable manufacturing outcomes. Responsibilities Design, document, and refine manufacturing methods to boost throughput and minimize operational costs. Provide hands-on technical guidance to floor teams, resolving equipment and tooling challenges in real-time. Analyze production data and cycle times to identify and implement sustainable process improvements. Manage technical documentation, including BOMs, work instructions, and ERP system records. Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance safety and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate new equipment and ensure seamless product transitions. Conduct root-cause investigations to resolve nonconformances and prevent future production bottlenecks. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or process engineering environment. Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong analytical skills with experience in root-cause analysis and corrective action. Working knowledge of CAD software and ERP/MRP systems. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with production tooling, fixtures, and equipment validation. Demonstrated success in applying Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma principles to improve workflows. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse production and engineering teams.
