Posted 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary Lead facility-wide Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and Value Stream Mapping initiatives to optimize manufacturing flow, improve operational efficiency, and eliminate waste across production environments. The role focuses on plant layout optimization, continuous improvement governance, workforce engagement, and manufacturing process enhancement, supporting CCA and Cable & Harness manufacturing operations. - Must be a U.S. Citizen Education & Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading 6S/5S programs in large-scale manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years of experience demonstrating success in redesigning plant layouts to support 6S and Lean flow
- Minimum 5 years of experience demonstrating success in facilitating Value Stream Mapping workshops
- Minimum 5 years of experience with CCA Manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Cable & Harnessing Manufacturing
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification preferred Job Duties & Functions
- Champion facility-wide 6S and Value Stream Mapping transformation initiatives
- Design, launch, and sustain 6S programs across the manufacturing plant
- Conduct baseline 6S audits and establish visual management standards
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly audit cycles
- Create and enforce 6S policies, checklists, and signage for all employee levels
- Map current value streams to identify improvement opportunities
- Redesign workstations and equipment layouts to support Lean flow and cellular manufacturing
- Eliminate unnecessary motion, transportation, and inventory through optimized work cell organization
- Lead Kaizen events focused on waste reduction and Value Stream Mapping improvements
- Quantify cost savings and productivity gains resulting from process improvements
- Coach manufacturing teams to sustain 6S practices and Lean initiatives
- Build real-time dashboards to track operational progress and corrective actions
- Maintain frontline employee suggestion systems supporting continuous improvement
- Facilitate recurring 6S review meetings and reinforce continuous improvement culture
