• Manufacturing What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Conducting supplier audits and assessments against established QMS requirements and industry standards Developing and implementing supplier quality agreements, scorecards and performance metrics Coordinating corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes with external suppliers Managing supplier documentation, certifications and compliance records Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria Supporting design standards integration and testing protocol alignment across the supply chain Preparing quality reports and metrics for leadership review Mentoring suppliers on process improvements and best practices What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: Must-have 5-10 years of supplier quality, quality engineering, or quality assurance experience Demonstrated expertise in quality management systems (QMS) and supplier audit methodologies Knowledge of manufacturing processes, design standards and testing protocols Experience with supplier scorecards, CAPA management and compliance documentation Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across internal and external teams Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field Authorization to work in the United States Nice-to-have 1-2 years of experience leading quality teams or managing supplier relationships CAD proficiency and familiarity with system integration concepts Field application or manufacturing plant experience Certifications such as ASQ CQE, CSQE or equivalent What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Opportunity to drive quality and compliance improvements across multiple supplier relationships Exposure to diverse manufacturing and engineering environments Potential for skill development in advanced quality methodologies and supply chain management Contribution to products that meet rigorous safety and design standards Collaborative work environment with engineering, operations and procurement teams Contract flexibility and potential progression to permanent opportunities, where supported by role alignment About Specialist Staffing Group Specialist Staffing Group connects engineering and technical professionals with forward-thinking organizations across manufacturing, product development, quality assurance and supply chain management.
