at Insight Global in Nashville, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description The Process Engineer is responsible for supporting new program launches, improving manufacturing processes, and helping production teams solve day-to-day operational challenges. This role works closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to develop efficient processes, optimize production, and ensure successful product launches. The Process Engineer will design workstations, tools, and fixtures, coordinate engineering changes, track program launches, and implement process improvements based on production data. They will also support quality initiatives by developing FMEAs, Control Plans, process flow charts, capability studies, ISIR submissions, SPC monitoring, and gauge specifications. Additional responsibilities include assisting with customer quotes, troubleshooting production issues, reviewing quality notifications and deviation requests, documenting corrective actions through 8D reports and continuous improvement projects, and representing the company at customer assembly plants during launches and issue resolution activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of AIAG Core Tools, experience with AutoCAD, and a passion for continuous improvement, quality, and operational excellence. Preferred:

2+ years of engineering experience within an automotive manufacturing environment. Experience with Statistical Process Control ( SPC ), including data analysis and application of advanced SPC principles. Familiarity with AutoCAD and engineering drawings.
