Industrial Engineer Job Description The Industrial Engineer will support the initiative to implement automated torque drivers. The role involves reviewing manual instructions, verifying torque specifications, and ensuring that torque maps are accurate and comprehensive. Collaboration with the controls engineering team is crucial to ensure correct programming, testing of new sequences, and deployment across the plant. The engineer will also be responsible for implementing automated torque drivers across multiple products. Responsibilities Support the initiative to implement automated torque drivers. Review manual instructions and verify torque specifications. Ensure accuracy and completeness of torque maps. Collaborate with controls engineering to ensure correct programming. Test new sequences and deploy them across the plant. Implement automated torque drivers across multiple products. Essential Skills Proficiency in work instructions. Experience in process mapping. Ability to conduct time studies. 3+ years of experience in a related field or a BS degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering with a manufacturing internship. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with torque drivers is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Rockford, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
