High visibility role, clear path to director or leadership About Our Client Our client is a respected manufacturer of custom mobility solutions, castings, wheels, and related products serving the industrial, institutional, and consumer goods markets. Following a recent separation from its parent company, the organization is now focused on accelerating its independent growth. To support this next chapter, they are seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to oversee product development and engineering initiatives while helping shape the company's future direction. Job Description Help the business grow directly with ownership! Bridge gap between customer and supplier for design and production of new products Vendor management, managing technical specifications Develop new and exisitng product lines utilizing SolidWorks and AutoCAD Take a customer concept, through design, production, and delivery Sort through and clean up BOMs and associated budgets Develop standard work procedures MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant 6-10+ years of engineering experience, primarily with in Product/Design Engineering Engineering Degree Strong with 2D and 3D Modeling - AutoCAD and SolidWorks Understanding of a BOM Some mix of experience working with metals, plastics, or rubber Exposure to quality is a plus Vendor management specifically with suppliers in Asia a big plus Open to significant growth and positive challenges associated with it - wear lots of hats as the team grows!
