Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across production lines. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced engineering principles and tools to analyze process performance, troubleshoot issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and refine manufacturing processes using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo. Utilize process engineering techniques including Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and industrial automation to improve production efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis to identify process inefficiencies or defects and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality assurance, maintenance, and production to optimize workflows. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, vision inspection systems, CNC machinery, and other industrial equipment. Lead projects involving process automation, tooling design, and equipment upgrades to enhance productivity. Analyze engineering data to monitor process performance metrics and support data-driven decision-making. Create detailed schematics and technical drawings for process layouts and equipment integration. Facilitate training sessions for operators and team members on new processes or equipment. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with quality standards such as GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and Lean management principles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are preferred. Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within a factory environment. Strong knowledge of plastics injection molding processes and assembly line operations. Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo) for designing schematics and layouts. Familiarity with industrial automation systems and troubleshooting techniques. Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma manufacturing practices. Excellent analytical skills for engineering data analysis and process troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams on complex projects with effective project scheduling skills. Mechanical knowledge relevant to tooling design, welding processes, industrial equipment maintenance, and factory automation. Strong communication skills for collaborating across departments and documenting technical procedures.
