About the Role As a Lead Industrial Electrical Engineer, you will spearhead the design, installation, and optimization of complex power distribution systems for industrial environments. You will serve as a technical authority, ensuring all infrastructure projects meet rigorous safety standards and operational efficiency goals while managing field execution and cross-functional project planning. Responsibilities Lead site surveys and develop comprehensive power distribution designs, including one-line drawings and capacity evaluations. Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial costing and resource planning to final installation and commissioning. Manage on-site teams, including subcontractors and electrical personnel, to ensure high-quality workmanship and strict adherence to safety protocols. Execute complex electrical installations, including conduit bending, wire pulls, and system terminations, while maintaining compliance with National Electrical Codes. Collaborate with controls specialists to integrate advanced systems and perform troubleshooting for both remote and on-site issues. Conduct arc flash studies and manage LOTO procedures to guarantee a secure working environment for all project stakeholders. Support sourcing and procurement by identifying compatible technical components that align with project constraints and budget requirements. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. 10+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering, installation, or maintenance. Master Electrician certification and valid journeyman license. Expertise in interpreting electrical schematics and utilizing design software like Autodesk Electrical Suite. Ability to travel frequently (60%-80%) for nationwide project execution. Preferred Skills Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Solidworks. Experience operating aerial lifts, forklifts, and heavy industrial equipment. Strong background in electrical project estimating and resource management.
