Industrial Engineer - Sterling Heights, MI Stellantis United States, Michigan, Sterling Heights Apr 08, 2026 Back Industrial Engineer #2015845 Sterling Heights, Michigan, United States Apply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description The Industrial Engineer Job - Assembly will be responsible for direct/indirect labor and activities affecting line speed, cycle checks, scrolls and workstation assignments, change control and line balancing. A qualified candidate will utilize Lean concepts to identify and eliminate waste as well as perform time/motion studies using MODAPTS. This position will assist the IE Manager and IE Supervisor with technical services to maintain efficient levels of Lean manufacturing and manning. The Industrial Engineer will support Stellantis Production Way (SPW) Domains as required. Location(s) 38111 Van Dyke, Sterling Heights , Michigan 48312 , United States
Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent Ability to interface with all levels of the organization from shop floor to management Must be self-motivated Excellent organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Microsoft Office experience Ability to work any shift, overtime and some travel may be required on occasion
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing Stellantis Production Way Knowledge of time study/standards, ratings, MODAPTS, ergonomic evaluations Knowledge of Chrysler Automated Manufacturing Planning System (AMPS) Assembly launch Experience Kitting and indirect labor experience Employment Type Full-time Stellantis At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
