$51 per hour We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to support supplier quality initiatives for metal manufacturing suppliers and production operations. This role partners with sourcing, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to ensure purchased materials meet quality, regulatory, and business requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with supplier quality, manufacturing, metal fabrication, and continuous improvement experience. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field required. Master's degree considered a plus. Experience Requirements 2 to 4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 0 to 2 years with a Master's degree. 1 to 2 years of supplier quality, supplier management, or supplier development experience. Experience supporting metal fabrication or manufacturing processes such as machining, stamping, castings, or related technologies. Strong project management and supplier relationship management skills. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of supplier audits, quality systems, corrective actions, and compliance requirements. Experience with supplier performance management, risk assessment, and change control processes. Strong technical problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Physical Capabilities Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing and engineering environment. Ability to move throughout production, quality, and supplier-related areas as needed. Job Duties Manage supplier qualification, onboarding, and quality approvals. Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and compliance activities. Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective and preventive actions. Support material changes, risk mitigation, and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams on new product development and production support. Lead continuous improvement activities to enhance supplier quality and operational performance.
