Mission:
To provide service to the program team for his/her area of functional expertise. Responsible for organizes and determines engineering requirements to develop and complete a project. Plan and coordinate engineering assignments involving several small projects or one major project. Work with and supervise project designers either as a lead engineer on a project or a senior level engineer in a functional position.Responsibilities:
Update Product definition whenever program definition changes. Participate in APQP Team as Process/Product Engineering representative. Organizes and develops feasibility design and engineering requirements for the project. Provide feasibility input to Design & Process requirements. Conduct capacity studies. Develop Internal Quotations for new products as needed. Program Water Jets. Receive, catalogue, and store production parts and quotes engineering drawings. Attend, support and participate in Engineering Design reviews. Participate in customer meetings which to improve the design and engineering of the overhead system. Process Flow and PFMEA development. Review process for material saving scrap reduction, material-handling reduction, and operator efficiency improvements. Prepare plant layouts/ detailed drawings for review and release (as needed). Utilize and apply GD&T. Interfaces with Customer to ensure all engineering needs and requirements of the customers are being met. Coordination of engineering changes through customers and internal system. Control expenditures within budget limits. Prepares project reports and timing plans. Support launch at the customer Assembly plants. To be the guarantor of confidentiality in the scope of the project, both internal as external. To be responsible for the client about the program/ project, process in coordination with representingGRUPO ANTOLIN.
Monitors production lines for process adherence and quality and maintains the authority to stop any line in order to solve quality or process issues. Coordinates product process changes with Production, Quality, & Material departments as well as with the customer.What we are looking for:
- Educational requirements: A bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Automotive Industry and/or Process/Project Engineering experience, at least 3-5 years.
- Analytical skills combined with structured working style and high learning and adaptation skills.
- Resourceful and self-motivated, able to manage multiple deliverables.
- A challenging and enquiring mindset
- Teamwork, Communication Skills, and Resilience with Proactive approach.
