6-8 Month Shipyard Project | Field-Based We are seeking experienced Field Engineers across multiple disciplines for a 6-8 month shipyard project . This is a hands-on field position working directly with production in the yard , serving as the link between Engineering and Production.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical engineering support to shipyard production teams Assist production with interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Develop sketches and provide technical clarification as needed Coordinate engineering changes and revisions with Project Engineers Coordinate and maintain as-built documentation Support regulatory and classification-related issues Provide feedback to Engineering regarding design and production concerns Support Tests & Trials with technical issues as needed Troubleshoot field issues and work with Engineering and Production to develop solutions Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

Previous shipbuilding/shipyard experience strongly preferred Knowledge of shipbuilding, engineering and production processes Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings AutoCAD proficiency Proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively with Engineering, Production and yard personnel BS degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training

Field Engineer:

2-3+ years of relevant experience

Field Engineer Lead/Supervisor:

5+ years of relevant experience

Project Duration:

Approximately 6-8 months
