Gist:

Wolfspeed's Global Operations team is seeking a Process Engineer with a proven track record of successful execution in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position will work directly with the Equipment and Process Engineering teams in our Silicon Carbide (SiC) Global Operations manufacturing team located at the Corporate Headquarters in Durham, NC.

The Day-to-Day:

Work with Operations team to resolve daily priorities as needed to support manufacturing Drive project initiatives forward in support of process safety, quality, throughput, and low cost Own the Grinding and Surface Finishing processes of Silicon Carbide (SiC) wafers Continuous improvement across many new and existing platforms and processes Monitor and respond to all OOC conditions on multiple product lines and toolsets Optimize preventative maintenance procedures Document best known methods across areas of ownership Create and maintain manufacturing documents and procedures as necessary Facilitate and oversee the install of new manufacturing equipment.
