HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manage engineering capital investment projects related to material processing equipment. Improve rubber processing department by reducing scrap, increasing labor efficiency and machine reliability, and troubleshooting issues. Create, modify, and optimize material processing specifications and recipes in SAP and MAZDA. Conduct new material trials including tracking, feedback, problem solving and recommendations. Implement and improve production visibility and tracking through Power BI. Estimate and analyze production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control. Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished product. Problem-solve and troubleshoot based on fundamental engineering principles. Must be available outside normal business hours up to 20% of the time to conduct trainings and on-floor trial runs. Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical/Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field 2+ years of experience within a manufacturing/production environment Hands-on production troubleshooting and operator collaboration Strong communication within all levels of the organization Strong problem-solving skills Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
