Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain manufacturing plant layouts and floor plans. Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and flow-down charts. Plan and manage installation of production, machining, inspection, and finishing equipment. Coordinate installation of 5-axis CNC machines, CMMs, paint equipment, sand blast stations, zinc phosphate systems, and related manufacturing equipment. Evaluate manufacturing workflows and identify layout or process improvements. Support equipment placement, utility requirements, material flow, and production sequencing. Coordinate manufacturing engineering activities associated with facility and equipment changes. Support aerospace and defense manufacturing operations and facility projects. Develop documentation for manufacturing layouts, process flows, and equipment installation activities. Support production capacity, efficiency, and floor-space optimization initiatives. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 5-7 years of Industrial Engineering experience. Experience developing plant and manufacturing floor layouts. Experience creating process maps and flow-down charts. Experience managing installation of manufacturing and inspection equipment. Experience supporting aerospace or defense manufacturing facilities. Experience managing installation of 5-axis CNC machines. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Preferred Skills Experience with CMM equipment installation and integration. Experience with paint systems and paint booth equipment. Experience with sand blast stations. Experience with zinc phosphate processing equipment. Experience with facility expansion, equipment relocation, or manufacturing line implementation.
