The Production Engineer II is responsible for providing outstanding solutions and support in the manufacturing process of control valves. In this position, you will be the technical go to person for the production and manufacturing teams, responsible for quickly solving issues and providing new ideas for better production methods.Responsibilities:
Analyzing production team needs, providing guidance and problem resolution Preparation of test procedures and O&M manuals Review of technical documentation and proposed designs Work with other engineers to support regulatory audits Providing troubleshooting for product testing Answering post-sale technical support questions Collaborating with division managers to implement process upgrades Building first articles of new product designs Development of new processes to optimize production Other tasks as needed by the teamCapabilities:
Require minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks Ability to think critically and independently find solutions when presented a problem Detailed and effective at accurately documenting specifications Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, balancing every day production needs with larger systemic upgrades Ability to work in a team Patient and capable of working under pressure Building intercompany relations to better serve the production and manufacturing teamsSkills:
Education:
bachelor's degree (four-year college or technical school) or work equivalent Field of study: engineering, engineering technology, or related disciplineExperience:
6-10 years in manufacturing, application, design or related position . Experience with air valves or hydraulic control valves- advantage
Computer Skills:
proficiency with Microsoft office products. Experience with 3D CAD modeling- advantage
Language:
English. Additional languages- advantage Experience with technical troubleshooting
- advantage Experience/education with hydraulics or fluid systems

Physical Requirements:
