Job Description
## The group you'll be a part of The Global Products Operations Group is part of the fast-paced and high-energy support group which primarily focuses on research and development of semiconductor equipment. This position will be focused on contributing to the overall improvement of lab operations, performance and reliability through innovative solutions. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business. ## The impact you'll make
- Creates and develops design concepts and specifications that optimize the function, ergonomics, perceived value and appearance of physical hardware products and systems for product consumers and end users.
- Partners with internal and external marketing and design groups to research and analyze design trends and customer feedback for incorporation into operational workflows and overall design language and strategy.
- Produces and validates product design specifications and production requirements with insourced and outsourced manufacturing and engineering groups. ## What you'll do
- Perform capacity analysis for long‑ and medium‑term resource planning aligned with business forecasts.
- Conduct gap analysis between actual vs. theoretical performance and drive effective closure actions.
- Lead labor‑hour reduction and cycle‑time improvement projects to enhance operational productivity.
- Coordinate tool relocation and production line re‑layout activities.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to achieve key operational KPIs.
- Perform time‑study data collection and analysis, driving continuous improvement based on lean line and bay build concepts. ## Who we're looking for
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience. ## Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with additional skills in AutoCAD and system-related tools considered an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and planning skills.
- Demonstrated drive for business and process improvements.
- Proven ability to perform effectively with minimal supervision.
