Job Description

We're seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to support our client, a company specializing in complex medical technologies. This role is remote and contract-based for 10-26 weeks. Join a team dedicated to reducing risk and accelerating product development through supplier quality management.

Supplier Quality Engineer II Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and surveys to ensure supplier compliance with requirements. Review and approve new supplier candidates for inclusion on the approved list. Support engineering and supply chain activities in supplier selection based on risk. Manage supplier corrective actions and non-conforming material reports. Lead supplier qualification, development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Supplier Quality Engineer II Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline. At least 2 years of relevant experience in supplier or manufacturing quality. Experience with supplier audits, root cause analysis, SCARs, NCRs, and quality systems. Knowledge of ISO standards, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies. Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings; strong communication skills.
