Job Description The Electrical Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for: Design detailed electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and bills of materials for custom automated processing equipment. Partner with mechanical engineers on motor selection, sensors, machine layout, and overall system design. Collaborate with controls engineers to integrate the latest automation hardware and networking solutions. The Successful Applicant Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. 5-7 years of experience in designing industrial electrical control systems. Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar electrical design tools. Hands‑on experience with PLCs, distributed I/O, and industrial Ethernet networks. Familiarity with Allen‑Bradley CompactLogix, safety PLCs, and integrated motion solutions. Understanding of SCCR, short‑circuit analysis, and relevant electrical standards. Working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, and UL508A. Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative technical culture.
