Job Description

Boeing seeks high-potential graduate students for the LGO/Tauber Leadership Development Program in partnership with the University of Michigan. In this rotational role, you'll apply operations, manufacturing, and systems engineering skills to real aerospace programs, improving production flow, quality, and supply chain performance. Work on cross-functional teams, use data-driven problem solving, and drive lean and Six Sigma projects. You'll gain exposure to commercial and defense programs, senior mentors, and structured leadership development for future operations and manufacturing leadership roles. Responsibilities Lead and support lean and Six Sigma improvement projects in manufacturing and operations Analyze production, quality, and supply chain data to identify and solve constraints Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, operations, and supply chain teams Develop and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency Prepare and present recommendations to leadership and program stakeholders Document processes, standards, and lessons learned from projects Engage with mentors and participate in structured leadership development activities Support change management and implementation of best practices across sites Required Skills Operations management Manufacturing engineering Lean manufacturing Six Sigma/continuous improvement Data analysis and statistics Supply chain management Project management Systems engineering Process mapping and optimization Technical communication
