Job Description

Your Job Guardian Glass is looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in Richburg, SC! With $60-80M in planned capital investment over the coming years, this is an opportunity to work on meaningful upgrades, modernization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact performance. You'll support a 24/7 float glass operation, partnering closely with operations, reliability, and engineering to improve safety, quality, and productivity. This role offers hands on problem solving, strong project ownership, and clear opportunities to grow as the site continues to evolve. Our Team You'll be joining a team that is collaborative, hands on, and closely connected to operations. Engineers are empowered to challenge the status quo, lead improvements, and see their ideas implemented on the floor. What You Will Do
  • Evaluate and optimize production equipment for improved production efficiency
  • Optimize production schedules for more efficient labor utilization and yield
  • Develop process and control parameters for operational control and improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement and other complex, team based projects
  • Improve and upgrade standard operating procedures
  • Work with Reliability and Engineering to install and maintain production equipment
  • Troubleshoot problems that occur during the manufacturing process
  • Support the Operations team in a 24/7 environment Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment applying engineering or process improvement methods
  • Experience identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions within a manufacturing or production environment What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with automation, electrical, or PLCs
