Essential Functions Responsible for preparing and monitoring short-term and long-range plans related to expansion procedures, staffing, equipment, vehicles, and products within the operations Ensure compliance with safety and legal standards, participate in special staff support projects, and prepare management information systems to aid in controlling and developing operational goals Assisting in studies to implement innovative engineering concepts into operations, benefiting both FedEx and its customers Maintains communication between operations and corporate departments, providing technical expertise on facility requests such as lease terminations, new locations, five-year planning, equipment justification, layout, vehicle planning, and cost justification Monitor productivity, service, and cost performance in all areas of operations and assist personnel in implementing necessary changes Provide technical training to personnel in workshops, seminars, and on-the-job training sessions in various areas, including operations, manning, management information systems, contingency planning, productivity, cost-effectiveness, and manpower scheduling Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications:
