Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient SFIS Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the Shop Floor Information Systems (SFIS/MES) for our high-volume electronics manufacturing lines. You will ensure real-time production tracking, quality control, and system availability to maximize efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
System Development & Maintenance:
Design, configure, and maintain SFIS modules, including traceability, packing, and reporting modules for assembly lines.
Data Integration:
Integrate SFIS with shop floor machinery, PLCs, and backend systems like SAP (ERP) to ensure seamless data flow.
Process Improvement:
Analyze manufacturing data to identify bottlenecks and implement software-driven improvements to increase yield and efficiency.
Technical Support:
Provide 24/7, on-site support to resolve critical system issues to minimize production downtime.
Documentation & Training:
Create and update technical documentation, system specifications, and user manuals for operators and technicians.
Quality Compliance:
Ensure all system enhancements comply with security standards and 2024 environmental and quality policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications Education:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience:
Experience in
MES/SFIS
development or support, preferably within the electronics manufacturing industry.
Programming:
Proficiency in SQL (Oracle/MS SQL Server), C#.
Networking/OS:
Strong understanding of Windows Server, database administration, and TCP/IP networking.
Skills:
Strong analytical troubleshooting skills, ability to work under pressure, and experience with data visualization tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience with PLC programming
Manufacturing floor experience
Knowledge of electronic assembly production processes Familiarity with cloud-based analytics or industrial IoT systems.
