This is a fully on-site position based in Colchester, Vermont. Candidates must be able to work at our Colchester facility on a regular, in-person basis. Champlain Cable Corporation is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes, supporting production operations, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout our facility. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who enjoys working on the production floor, analyzing data, implementing process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results. What You'll Do Lead cost reduction initiatives through process improvements, equipment upgrades, and manufacturing optimization projects. Identify and implement opportunities to reduce scrap, improve equipment uptime, increase throughput, and improve manufacturing efficiency. Provide engineering support to production operations by troubleshooting process and equipment issues. Support customer sample production and ensure process documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained. Investigate and resolve quality concerns through corrective actions involving customer complaints, MRBs, SPC data, and specification compliance. Maintain process documentation and manufacturing standards within the company's quality systems. Partner with suppliers to improve raw material performance, reduce costs, and identify equipment improvement opportunities. Develop, implement, and train employees on new manufacturing procedures and best practices. Support R&D and new product development efforts, including process validation, troubleshooting, pilot runs, and production launch activities. Analyze manufacturing data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Support environmental, health, and safety objectives while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
