Plant Auxiliary Equipment Technician Description:
Description Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant auxiliary equipment and utility systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and system issues and take appropriate corrective action to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor equipment condition and performance to identify potential reliability concerns before failures occur.
  • Measure and track key equipment and system performance metrics.
  • Assess reliability risks and recommend improvements to increase equipment uptime, efficiency, and longevity.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and documentation.
  • Develop, update, and maintain standard maintenance procedures and operating documentation.
  • Perform routine inspections of auxiliary equipment and identify abnormal conditions or potential safety concerns.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance personnel to address equipment issues and minimize disruption to production.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling preventative maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow applicable OSHA, environmental, and company requirements related to the operation and maintenance of utility systems.
  • Assist with projects, equipment installations, upgrades, and system improvements as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of parts, tools, and supplies necessary to support assigned equipment.
  • Participate in training and stay current on equipment, systems, and maintenance best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Initial Equipment Responsibilities The position will initially be responsible for the maintenance and reliability of the following plant auxiliary systems: Reverse Osmosis (RO) System Wastewater Systems Steam and Boiler Systems Air Compressor Systems Ammonia Systems As the role develops, additional systems may be added, including but not limited to: CO2 Systems Nitrogen Systems Other plant utility and auxiliary equipment Qualifications •
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (e.g., 2-5 years) in an Industrial Auxiliary equipment upkeep role.
  • Proficiency in general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, boiler systems, water filtration systems knowledge.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
  • This position may require a valid Driver's License.
  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
  • This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our location.
  • This position may require overtime, various shifts, weekends, holidays and alternative work schedules
