Mechanical Technician
- Chaska, MN
- Pay: $19
- 23/hr.
- Location: Chaska, MN
- Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-Time | 8AM
- 4PM
- Job Summary: Join a team building large custom water purification systems used in industries such as mining, power generation, commercial facilities, and sports venues. This is a project-based assembly role, not a production line position, offering variety, hands-on work, and opportunities to learn new skills in a clean, air-conditioned shop.
- Key Responsibilities Read blueprints and engineering drawings Assemble custom systems using hand and power tools Measure, cut, fit, and install PVC, stainless steel, copper, and other piping materials Fabricate and modify components to meet project specifications Bolt, glue, screw, and secure assemblies to custom frames Test completed systems for quality and functionality Assist with receiving materials, inventory organization, and shipping preparation Work closely with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently•Qualifications 6+ months of mechanical assembly, construction, manufacturing, or related experience Ability to read a tape measure accurately Experience using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and wrenches Ability to read blueprints or assembly drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
