Job Description

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, conduct the processes under your supervision and control in a safely, environmentally responsible, consistent, and efficient manner, in order to achieve the quality results expected by our customers and the projected production rates; insure that the operation is run in a safe manner; perform thorough pre shift; check fluids in machines; start up machinery from cold start; shut down machinery; shut down machinery to clean; follow up the Daily Instruction Sheet; manage normal operation and adjusts machine parameters in response to testing performed on material, adjust dryer temperature profile, SOP's and Best Practices; manage major upsets: manage abnormal situations such as: High feed end temperature, low bag house temperatures, etc.; general housekeeping; maintain all records; review previous shift operation at the beginning of the shift and leave proper information for the following one; analyze operation trends.
