Automation Engineering Specialist ■

General Responsibilities :

Perform urgent troubleshooting and repairs on automation equipment during the night shift to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production. Coordinate with the Assistant Manager and Manager for remote troubleshooting and technical support during off-peak hours. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and manage spare/service parts for automation equipment. Support operators and shift supervisors by developing, updating, and verifying technical training manuals and standardized operating guidelines. Read and interpret equipment maintenance manuals, mechanical layouts, electrical diagrams, and other technical documentation. Support industrial automation systems, including robotics, PLCs, sensors, and vision systems. Utilize basic engineering and design tools, including CAD/viewer software, to support maintenance activities. Work independently during the 3rd shift and respond to emergency maintenance needs or schedule changes based on plant operations. Perform other maintenance, engineering, and technical documentation duties as assigned. ■

Qualifications :

High school diploma required. 1-2 years of field experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, automation maintenance, or a related technical field preferred. Entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude and willingness to complete intensive on-the-job training (OJT) are welcome to apply. Basic understanding or strong interest in mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and automation controls. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in time-sensitive production environments. Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English highly preferred , particularly for technical reporting and remote troubleshooting. Ability to work independently and effectively during the night shift. Must be able to work a flexible schedule , including emergency calls or shift adjustments as required. ■
