Oxford, Alabama (On-Site) Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with experience in foundry operations, thermal processing, chemical processes, or precision metal finishing? A growing global manufacturer serving highly regulated, high-performance industries is seeking a Post-Casting Manufacturing Engineer to join its engineering team in Oxford, Alabama.

Salary:

$100K-150K +10% + (Relocation Package) This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, optimizing processes, and driving product quality in a precision manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing As the technical owner for post-casting manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for developing, improving, and supporting processes that transform raw castings into certified, drawing-compliant products.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning and improving post-solidification manufacturing processes from shell removal through final casting conformance
• Supporting chemical leaching, heat treatment, rough machining, blending, and finishing operations
• Developing process standards, work instructions, tooling, fixtures, and equipment programming
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, throughput, yield, and cost reduction
• Ensuring compliance with customer, industry, and internal manufacturing standards
• Collaborating with operations, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams to resolve technical issues and improve performance
• Analyzing process data and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Supporting new product introductions and manufacturing process validation efforts What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a foundry, metals, heavy industrial, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing environment
• Experience with chemical processing, thermal processing, precision grinding, blending, machining, or related manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, process controls, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and project management skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities Preferred Experience
• Heat treatment and pyrometry knowledge (AMS2750/Nadcap environment)
• Investment casting, aerospace manufacturing, or metallurgical processing experience
• Chemical handling and industrial process control experience
