full-time Great opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Enginee r to work for a global manufacturing technology leader located in Phoenix, AZ Our client is a high-tech facilities manufacturer looking for a Senior Manufacturing Enginee r to be responsible for fabrication & assembly processes, continuous improvement, tooling, and manufacturing and plant layouts Responsibilities Process Development Project Management - ensuring completion from start to finish Supports and/or leads product launch activities Review engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services Define how to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiency Develop quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs Work with customers and management to develop standards for design and production Confer with clients concerning product specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of projects Develop, recommend, and implement initiatives to improve production metrics and financial performance Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or relevant experience At least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a similar manufacturing environment required
