Job Summary:

Our Mother of Good Counsel School is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and hands-on educator to lead a STEM Lab / Engineering Challenges elective program for TK-8 students. This position is ideal for someone passionate about innovation, problem-solving, engineering design, and inspiring students to think critically while having fun. The STEM Lab teacher will create engaging, project-based learning experiences where students collaborate, build, test, redesign, and explore real-world engineering concepts in a supportive Catholic school environment focused on forming saints, scholars, and stewards. Responsibilities Plan and teach engaging STEM and engineering challenge lessons for TK-8 students Facilitate hands-on learning activities involving design, construction, experimentation, coding, robotics, and problem-solving Guide students through the engineering design process: ask, imagine, plan, create, test, and improve Differentiate instruction for various grade levels and learning needs Foster collaboration, creativity, perseverance, and teamwork Maintain an organized and safe classroom/lab environment Communicate professionally with school administration and staff Support schoolwide STEM showcases, projects, or events as needed

Requirements:

New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
