Job Description
Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineering Intern completes assigned tasks, projects, and daily activities within the department as required.Hourly rate:
$26.25Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Updates Visual Work Instructions (VWI's) by witnessing manufacturing, taking/uploading pictures, and editing documentation as required. Completes data analysis for project-specific requirements. Uploads and maintains automated tool crib database. Supports assembly and test with test setup organization. Creates and updates metrics for multiple operations departments. Spends time on the shop floor to learn the different manufacturing processes and provide process improvement ideas. Supports manufacturing engineering and operations with other duties as needed. Keeps area clean according to 5S standards. Follows all safety rules as set by the company.Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/orExperience:
Current enrollment in a 4-year university with an Engineering major.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of Manufacturing Engineer principles. Solid interpersonal skills Good computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Well organized; detail oriented; strong work ethics and ability to self-motivate.EXPORT COMPLIANCE DISCLAIMER
