Assist with developing lifting plans. Assist in continuous improvement of manufacturing methods. Generates and revises 2-D and 3-D schematics for mechanical equipment and components using AutoCad and Autodesk Inventor design software. Analyzes as-built fabrication drawings to determine if drawing revisions are warranted and completes all changes in a timely fashion. Follows and processes quality control procedures including CNs NCRs and ASME related tasks. Creates Bill of Material on design drawings and in company's OMS data base. Coordinates with and assists various departments to facility timely cost-efficient and accurate design and fabrication of products. What helps you succeed Requirements Position requires proficient use of 2-D and 3-D computer design software. Technical degree certificate or a minimum of 1 year work experience in related field. Ability to communicate with management and co-workers as well as customers and vendors. Regular use of computer equipment and email for communication is required. Good knowledge of common office equipment such as computer calculator fax machine etc. is needed. Sitting for extended periods is common.
