Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer This role partners closely with the Maintenance Manager to plan and execute short- to mid-term maintenance and improvement projects, serving as a Project Lead overseeing all phases from planning through completion. The position coordinates with cross-functional leaders to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule, provides engineering and technical leadership for process improvement and automation initiatives, and identifies cost-saving opportunities. It also plays an active role in plant safety and ergonomics, supports preventive maintenance program development, and steps in for the Maintenance Manager as needed. What's in it for you? Manufacturing Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position $100,000.00 to $105,000.00 /annually First Shift Lead and coordinate maintenance personnel in partnership with the Maintenance Manager; serve as acting lead in the manager's absence. Communicate effectively across all levels to drive process improvements, operational change, and safety initiatives. Provide technical and engineering leadership for productivity, process improvement, automation, and manufacturing efficiency projects. Lead and manage projects from concept through installation, including timelines, budgets, documentation, and execution. Identify and implement cost-saving and productivity initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies. Support manufacturing operations through process development, equipment automation, and technology upgrades. Evaluate manufacturing systems, equipment, and processes to ensure effectiveness, reliability, and continuous improvement. Prepare capital project justifications, cost analyses, and authorization documentation. Serve as a consultant and trainer for manufacturing process technology and operational improvements. Lead and support automation, process control systems, and production equipment including PLCs, packaging, conveying, and pneumatic systems. Develop and implement process data analysis methods to measure plant performance and quality outcomes.Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, BSME or BSEE Experience with Microsoft Office applications 5 Years' experience in a manufacturing environment desirable Good communication and human relations skills Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and coach groups of individuals.
