The ideal candidate will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and R D teams to improve yield, reliability, efficiency, and product performance in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain capacitor manufacturing processes and production equipment.
  • Monitor production metrics, analyze process data, and implement corrective actions to improve yield and reduce scrap.
  • Support process qualification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, maintenance, supply chain, and product engineering.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct root cause analysis for manufacturing defects and reliability issues.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and engineering reports.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) and scale-up activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend equipment upgrades, tooling improvements, and automation opportunities. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in electronic components, semiconductors, batteries, or capacitor production.
  • Knowledge of capacitor technologies such as ceramic, electrolytic, tantalum, or film capacitors.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and process validation.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing data analysis and Microsoft Office tools. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of reliability testing and failure analysis techniques.
  • Experience with automation systems, PLCs, or manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with
ISO 9001, IATF
16949, or similar quality systems. Working Conditions
  • Manufacturing plant and cleanroom environments may be required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift equipment/materials.
  • Some travel may be required for supplier or customer support.
