CNC Manufacturing Lead Accelera - 3.5 Arvada, CO Job Details Full-time $38 - $55 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Manufacturing management GD&T Team development Team management Delegation CNC machine setup Full Job Description About the Role As a CNC Manufacturing Lead, you will oversee high-precision machining operations, ensuring that production schedules are met with strict adherence to quality and safety standards. You will play a pivotal role in mentoring team members, optimizing workflow efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence. Responsibilities Direct daily machining activities, assigning tasks based on production requirements and team expertise to maximize throughput. Provide technical leadership in CNC setup, programming, and troubleshooting to resolve complex manufacturing challenges. Foster a culture of safety and quality by ensuring strict compliance with ISO/AS standards and internal procedures. Analyze production metrics to identify bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions to improve cycle times and equipment utilization. Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline material flow and ensure seamless transitions between machining and assembly. Manage team performance through coaching, training, and professional development to build a highly skilled workforce. Maintain equipment reliability by overseeing preventative maintenance schedules and calibration protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC setup, programming, and operation within a precision prototype or job shop environment. Advanced proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Strong leadership capability with a proven track record of managing and developing technical teams. Ability to interpret complex technical documentation and provide clear, actionable guidance. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status as required for ITAR compliance. Preferred Skills Associate degree or technical certification in machining or a related manufacturing discipline. Experience with 5-axis CNC milling and turning technologies. Demonstrated success in implementing Lean manufacturing or 5S methodologies. Proficiency in ERP systems and project management software.
