Working closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams, this role helps translate engineering requirements into clear, repeatable production processes. This role may support processes involving welders, laser scribes, automated equipment, and other complex manufacturing machines. Success in this position requires strong technical fundamentals, hands-on problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties and Responsibilities Support the design, documentation, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling, fixtures, and production methods. Collaborate with Production teams to troubleshoot process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions that improve quality, safety, throughput, and reliability. Assist with new product introduction, prototype builds, pilot production, and transition of engineering designs into scalable manufacturing processes. Collect, analyze, and report manufacturing data related to yield, cycle time, defects, capacity, labor standards, equipment performance, and statistical process control trends. Partner with Quality to support nonconformance investigations, process validation, inspection planning, and continuous improvement activities. Work with Supply Chain and Production teams to evaluate manufacturability, material readiness, process constraints, and opportunities to reduce cost or lead time. Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including routings, bills of materials, assembly procedures, test procedures, and process change records. Support lean manufacturing, 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across production areas. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. Foundational understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly methods, quality systems, engineering documentation, and statistical process control concepts. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, work instructions, and process documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to support decisions and process improvements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Management. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Desired Skills or Experience 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, production engineering, or a related technical role. Experience supporting electro-mechanical assembly, battery systems, power electronics, energy storage, welding, laser scribing, automated equipment, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments. Familiarity with CAD tools, ERP/MRP systems, manufacturing execution systems, or product lifecycle management systems. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience creating or improving work instructions, fixtures, tooling, test procedures, or production documentation.
Pay:
