A Manufacturing Process Engineer develops workflow, work station, and equipment improvement recommendations within a company's manufacturing environment. Fine tunes manufacturing processes by researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. Evaluates manufacturing processes, applies knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and material.
Develops customer concepts and prepares files for manufacturing, works with development department to assure designs are properly documented. Ø
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop project objectives by reviewing customer job files Determine project schedule by calculating time requirements Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems Prepare model and drawings for manufacturing department Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects Ensure effective engineering and customer communications Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal ITAR regulations Ø

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and/or 5 years of experience with advanced knowledge, obtained usually through a combination of experience and continuing education Ø
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIRED
Valid Driver's license Ø
