Technical Service Engineer, PMC Valmet Inc. - 3.7 Atlanta, GA Job Details Full-time 10 hours ago Benefits 401(k) matching Qualifications Data collection Full Job Description Are you customer-oriented and interested in hands-on work at the customer site? As a Technical Service Engineer for our Fabrics group you play a critical role in working directly with our customers for service calls, performing field service work, data collection, and overall support for all paper machine clothing related issues. You'll assist in performing shutdown services related to paper machine clothing on all sections of the paper machine, including assistance during clothing installations. Your expertise will also be needed to perform inspections and services between clothing installations. Additionally, you'll perform minor equipment and inventory audits that support our customer contracts / agreements. In this hands-on role you'll work closely with our Product Managers, Sales, and Technology experts to ensure cooperation is focused on the customer with meaningful results.
Territory:
Louisianna, Mississippi, Texas Requirements:
Bachelors Degree (BA, BS) from four-year college or university; minimum of 5 years related experience and / or training - preferably in paper industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer strong understanding of paper machine clothing, but willing to train with appropriate background and willingness to learn. Trouble-shooting abilities are key. Travel required to customer sites. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
