The company is making significant investments in new equipment, and the selected candidate will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Responsibilities include designing manufacturing processes, analyzing workflow efficiency, and achieving production goals according to product specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES
Create production tooling designs using software like SolidWorks. Implement productivity enhancements for existing production lines. Conduct root cause analysis of failures and suggest design or process changes. Develop and execute production processes for new and existing products. Perform FMEA's on products and processes to identify areas for improvement. Review product designs to optimize manufacturability and efficiency. Collaborate in cross-functional teams to enhance productivity methods. Lead initiatives in lean manufacturing, design of experiments, and more. Organize design review meetings for new and existing products. Develop work instructions, parts inventories, and process improvements. Implement automation technologies like robotics, vision systems, and machine design.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field. Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office. Experience in tooling design and project management. Knowledge of automation, robotics, and PLCs. Background in heavy manufacturing as a Manufacturing Engineer. Industry experience across various sectors. Preference for experience in zinc or aluminum die casting, stamping, or plastic molding. Desired background in foundry operations. Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.
